Marek Caldarelli (he/they) has joined Circle Care Center Norwalk as an MSW graduate student intern from UConn. He is looking forward to utilizing his lived experience as a transgender person and previous work as a sex educator to support and empower everyone
entrusted in his care.

They are so excited to be serving the community as a part of the Behavioral Health team and will be doing so until April of 2027. Marek will be on-site Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9am to 5pm and Thursdays from 9am to 12pm.

They are especially interested in working with transgender individuals and the broader LGBTQ+ community. Their professional interests include substance use disorder, PTSD and complex PTSD, and neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. Marek also brings experience in harm reduction and sex education.
