Candy is currently completing her Master of Social Work at Fairfield University, where she has embraced her passion for social justice and community support. After reevaluating her life in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, she decided to pivot from her career in corporate event planning and promotional and experiential event marketing to pursue social work. Her experiences have equipped her with a unique understanding of how our environments shape human interactions and relationships, which she believes is crucial in fostering meaningful connections with clients.

 

With a deeply personal connection to the LGBTQIA+ community, Candy is dedicated to advocating for marginalized voices and is passionate about walking alongside clients on their healing journey. She approaches her work with empathy and a trauma-informed, client-centered, lens. She is excited about the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of those she serves. Candy aims to create inclusive, nurturing, and brave spaces that empower individuals to thrive as their most authentic selves.
